something about this day that makes time seem like its going by way too fast..

the 183rd day of the year (184th on a leap year). 182 days had passed and 182 days until the next year. half the year gone by already when seems just like yesterday we were celebrating graduations. the day before that fathers and mothers day, and before those st patricks, valentines, the new year!

that and today is the day. another year, another +1. geez, 25 sounds really old, especially when i think back to when i turned 10, 13, 18 and 21. maybe it hasnt hit me yet, quarter of a century old (and the coworkers joking i just turned 12), or its not that big a deal. not to me at least. ive been an adult, for a while now, but a part of me will always be a kid who likes causing trouble, stuffs himself with pizza and ice cream and dreaming with that wild imagination.
